Hi, welcome to Drakengard Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the Cent page.
Using My Images
MSG1 - Hi there, thanks so much for asking to use my images. I really appreciate it. I've answered these questions and put them into a FAQ on my site ; you can see it there.
But since you asked nicely, you may use them; however, I would like you to put the source somewhere in the description. I know I'm not the only one who has scanned these things, but if there is no source, how is anyone to know the difference unless I add a ton of easter eggs to the images (which I have been doing recently)?
If you have any other questions about anything, please do not hesitate to ask. I genuinely enjoy talking to other fans. <3
MSG2 - Caim from DOD1.3: Oh, and was that my scan that you used for Caim, from the DOD1.3 novella chapter "The Crimson Dragon"? I thought this image had already been uploaded by Dan that included my watermark, but again, I know other people have probably scanned this besides me, so it's possible that it's not my scan. I'll take your word for it. I think it still has the file name that I saved it as, though. xD
MSG3 - Aw, no worries, no need to say sorry. I understand and I really appreciate the open dialogue. That's really all I ask. <3
But you bring up an interesting point, which I don't believe many people online understand. Although I may not hold any legal claim on the characters, artwork, or anything official, I do have ownership to the IMAGES that I made. This has also been an issue with my other hobby of collecting animation artwork. With that at least, most pieces of art are one of a kind, so it's easy to tell if someone's using your scans. Here, these images are proably not one of a kind, there could be multiple people making scans; which is why I generally watermark my images. The problem is, when enough people take somebody's images and use them, spreading them around the Internet, the next person who sees it hasn't got a clue where it came from. Not everyone is guilty of the initial theft, so don't worry. <3
